About Clarissa Smith

     Clarissa Smith is 35 year resident of the Blackman community, located in West Murfreesboro of Rutherford County.   Clarissa specializes in her home community of Blackman; however, services clients across the State of Tennessee specifically, Rutherford and surrounding Middle Tennessee counties.

    She brings 23 years of Human Resources expertise to the area of Real Estate. Human Resources and Real Estate have key elements in common; Ethics, Integrity, Trust and a true Passion for people.  Clarissa is the owner of Smith Bus Service, LLC. a school bus transportation service business founded by her late husband & lifelong Rutherford County, Blackman community native Lt. Bart Smith.  Smith, in continuation of Bart's legacy has proudly served for Rutherford County Schools for over 45 years.  She is currently married to Jimmy Cassidy, retired law enforcement with Rutherford County Sheriff's Office and currently a Criminal Justice Instructor at Blackman High School.

     If you don't find Clarissa connecting people in real estate transactions, she could be filling in for one of her school bus drivers, managing commercial & residential real estate both in Tennessee and Florida, taking care of her family, including her dogs Harper, Harley and Quinn.  She enjoys traveling as much as possible.  "Life is short, make the most of it".  

     Clarissa is active the community, school and church. She believes in giving to her community.   Her area of giving focus has been the Blackman community schools, specifically, Blackman High School.  Other areas of charitable and personal interests are:  Leukemia & Lymphoma Society,  Relay for Life (American Cancer Society) & Sarah Cannon Cancer Center.  The Boro Dash, Beasley Animal Foundation, Rutherford County Chamber of Commerce, Leadership Rutherford, Muscular Dystrophy of Middle Tennessee, West Main Mission, United Way of Rutherford County Siegel High School Band, MTSU & St. Thomas Rutherford Foundation.
